so i have been trying to post another song that naki sent me, but it wasn't uploading! i have been trying since last thursday, but i figured my internet at home is just too slow. well i think that was only part of the problem. i got the lovely birthday present of my computer crashing!! yikes! yes, my hardrive is bad and i lost everything. but there is one saving grace through all of this....i just bought an external hardrive over thanksgiving and i have put a lot of my pictures and stuff on it. i can get my music and some other stuff for matt, so really this isn't all that bad. in fact, it is actually a blessing that it happened after finals and over the break where i don't really need my computer and i can use my mom's. i talked on the phone yesterday with the apple guy (who was SUPER helpful!) and he was SO nice to me. he helped me for free (it was supposed to cost 5o bucks for him to help me, but he didn't charge me.) he said that he would blame it on apple and not charge me for his help. so nice! anyway, after he jumped through a million hoops to help me out, he came to the conclusion that it was my hardrive and basically it would be a miracle if i didn't lose everything. he said i could be an idiot and send it in to apple and get it fixed for 600 bucks, or take it to my local geek sqad at best buy for about $200. that was so nice of him! luckily i have money from the lap top i sold, so it isn't the end of the world. i am actually glad that now i don't have to go through all the junk on my computer to see what needs to be deleted and such. (my hardrive was getting pretty full....hense the reason i bought the external one over thanksgiving). well, sorry if you have read this far, you are probably bored out of your mind, haha, but overall it was a great birthday and i am loving all the snow we are getting! over a foot and a half is on the ground with more coming each day. it really is a winter wonderland!!
it has been a little different this year with just me and matt home, but it is still so nice to be home and have family around! i love christmas time! we did our chocolate fondu the other night, which was delicious, and jeff and darc joined us on my birthday for a party!

Woah, your computer gave up the ghost! Sorry D! That's bad news bears right there! I'm so glad your external hardrive worked out though!! That's a serious blessing! way to be prepared ;D Welp love you and i'm glad you're enjoyin your feet of snow :D loooove you!
Di!! Totally thought of you over Christmas break. Naki was in my stake in Texas, and I saw his missionary plaque inside our church building. Bomb, right?
