Deer Valley

This last week was pretty crazy! Between midterms, papers, work and fun, i was constantly on the go. Coach asked me (serious, of course) when i find time to study. I told him I squeeze it in, but not to mention anything to my parents haha. Just to clear things up, I DO study. I have learned to be quite efficient and still find time to procrastinate!

Friday, we basically had a chipman reunion at the Cougarettes in Concert. We all ate pizza before at Liberty Girls' Apartment, and then headed to the concert. it was AMAZING! i always love watching them! the last dance they did was one that was choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha from So You Think You Can Dance! It was awesome. I seriously could just watch them dance all day! And it was fun to be with some old friends :)

Saturday was the highlight of my week. SKIING! ahh i love it. I have missed it because I don't have a pass here in Utah, so I don't get to go very often. But Alison's friend from back home, Kayla, had the hookups and we got tickets to Deer Valley for 10 bucks! YESS!! It was GREAT! Kayla and Alison learned how to ski from Kayla's ski instructor friend named Chris. Me and Dana were on our own, and we LOVED exploring! It was a blast! But i must say that I do miss Targhee though....I don't think any place will replace it!

The houses up there at the ski resort were literally sickening haha. They were HUGE and MILLIONS of $$$$. One that we skied by was for sell for 22 million. Yeah, complete with a heated driveway (super long by the way) and elevator, 20 car garage, had its own chairlift (not even kidding) and was all decked out. I don't know who can even afford that! But it was pretty sweet. It was just a great day of skiing, with the sun out and good friends to be with! Dana had some good crashes, but to redeem herself, she did some black diamonds. Not too bad for her first season skiing!

On the way home we stopped by the river and walked on top of it! Luckily we found some girls there to take a pic for us! yeah, still haven't heard the end of the "hick" jokes because i knew that rivers froze completely over and you could walk on it....

We had some pretty good ice-skating moves....hahaha

Di, you are so cute! It looks like you had so much fun! Oh, and nobody can afford that house, that is why it is for sale...I doubt they can even afford it right now! But that would be sweet to have your own chair lift...

wow! That house does sound sickening! Your skiing trip sounds amazing! I still have never gone, even haven't gone snowboarding! I am a very sheltered person here :)! I am actually really scared now casue everyone does it and I have never gone, so it is actually a fear of mine. You are the only person i told that to! haha!
