Okay, so I am totally stealing these pics off of Big Al's blog :) I didn't take my camera....surprise surprise! But it was a total BLAST and lets just say we have impeccable timing...we drove down to Spanish Fork and it took FOREVER to get there. We passed millions of people (maybe a little bit of an exaggeration...) that were walking from at least 2-3 miles away from the Hindu temple. We had an insider tell us we could park up close...so we attempted. Well, I am proud to say that we found an AMAZING spot that was SUPER close and we got there JUST IN TIME TO THROW CHALK!! It was seriously the minute we hiked up the 30 second walk to the temple that they started going crazy and chalk was everywhere! We just got into the thick of it (unfortunately we didn't get to buy any because they sold out...but hey, there were plenty of half used bags on the ground that we found and they were FREE!!). It was a really cool experience and I still am chanting "Hare Krishna!" over and over in my head! There was plenty of people (thanks to BYU students haha) and crowd surfing, and even burning of a witch (that smelt horrible haha). Overall, it was GREAT and we will for SURE be back NEXT YEAR!!!

So it was cooler in real life...you could see all the little clouds of chalk being thrown in the air!!
This is the view from the balcony of the Temple. Next time, we are going to go earlier so we can A. get chalk, and B. walk through the temple and tour the place (llamas and everything)
