Nashville: Home of Country Music

You guessed it....NASHVILLE PICTURES ARE UP! You better appreciate this (SPENCER) because it took me FOREVER! But I was thinking I would rather add pictures than write a whole long post. So I will just commentate on the pics...

First night - BB King's Restaurant. MMMM Delicious southern cookin! (Paula Dean Style=love)

Coach really loved the food too.....maybe too much? Oh, and he loved me taking pictures all the time. Becky didn't mind being a model though

So they tried to hook me up with this guy. Hot that he played saxophone, but that is about all he had going for him....yikes. I'm sure he is a good guy though.

I got to see RACHEL!!! And her beautiful house. It is seriously a work of art. I loved every corner and the location. SOOOO gorgeous! I just wish I could have gotten more pics, but I only stayed one night and most of the time I was there it was dark! I guess that means I'll have to come back!!

The best, most beautiful bridge right by her house. We drove right across it!! I fell in love.

The Temple is hiding somewhere behind Rachel's concentrated driving face.

Okay, now we are at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Definitely a must see if you are in Nashville! Elvis Presley's Piano is behind me in the pic.

Lots and lots of records!

Are you ready for some football?!

I am a little obsessed with George Strait. Maybe because me and Stefanie used to listen to him, maybe because he is just so cool. Either way, couldn't miss the photo op.

You can't go to Tennessee and not take a picture of something Dolly Parton :)

The crew, posing in front of the museum with our new t-shirts on!

Bike racks here are weird haha (all I can say is that we don't have potatoes for our bike racks..) But very creative

Lindsy and I.....we're not tourists. Definitely don't look like it. Especially when we block traffic taking pictures.

The Hermitage. Andrew Jackson's house.

The "lovely" garden that everyone told us we couldn't miss.....don't blink or else you might just pass right through it because it isn't that big haha

The man of the hour. Not a big fan of him though....

One last pic of the backyard....

Okay, this was our scene for the conference

Ashlyn is hardcore thuggish

Twinners....Matchy matchy

This is my brother, Ed Gardner. Serious

Coach became a Legend. (basically it means he is really cool in the strength and conditioning field)

Jeff "Maddog" Madden from the University of Texas. We're best friends.

Scott Bennett....We're only facebook friends.

Ashlyn and Crystal....mmmm free dinner

Whitney, me and Lindsy.

COUNTRY TIME!!

Love the Grand Ole Opry!!

Basically I loved it all! The trees, green-ness, humidity that made me claustrophobic (but I still LOVED IT!), the hills, the nice people, country feel (so much like home in a way-cowboy hats, horses, wild west feel), i just loved it ALL!! I can't wait to go back sometime because I WILL go back :) The only thing I wish I could have changed about this trip was that I wish I could have seen more. Since we were doing the conference, we were in the hotel/conference center and didn't get to see as much as I would have liked. But the parts I did see were so wonderful! We even left during an amazing storm where we saw lightning hit the ground and the thunder booming at the same time. Amazing! And I have never seen the water come down like that from the sky....it was so incredible! I am just glad we survived it all with Chuck driving....we had many close calls haha. It was just a great trip and I am so glad I got to go! (even if i did have to wait a few weeks to come home to ID)
