Culture Pie

I am doing a project for my class where I am creating a snapshot of a prominent cultural group and how they are represented in the United States. I plan on doing this by gathering visual, narrative, audio, etc. representations of the group in the media—newspapers, magazines, music, television, websites, blogs, podcasts, etc. I'll use these to discuss how the cultural group is represented/viewed in the United States

The group I have chosen to focus on is Polynesians. Maybe because I love BYU Football, or maybe because it was pretty much the only group that wasn't taken haha. (Only so many people can do Mexicans unfortunately.) Either way, I am excited to get started on this and NEED YOUR HELP!! Yes, my teacher encouraged us soliciting help from others.
