Jay
Yesterday I attended the funeral of my 40 year old cousin Jay Adamson. He was in a hiking accident on Wednesday. As sad as I am about this happening, I came away from the funeral with a renewed hope to be a better person and with a stronger testimony of how beautiful the gospel is. It was so refreshing to see the family so strong with a perfect knowledge that they would see their loved one again. Of course I was so sad about this and shed some tears, but I know that Jay is in a happier place and probably up playing Rook with Grandpa :) I think Darci put it perfectly when she said that now she has a deeper desire to study the life of Joseph Smith and Christ after hearing how deeply Jay studied them and loved them. As sad as I am about this, it is good to keep me focused and on track to being the best I can. We'll always remember Jay and love him, and I'll for sure miss seeing him on campus at BYU, but I am just so grateful to have been blessed to know him. Click here to read his obituary.

Diana - I felt the same way about Jay's funeral. It was so so sad especially for Marcie and the kids, but I did leave with a feeling of wanting to appreciate life and those people who are special in mine. Like you - I love you!
Hey, how did you make your blog so adorable?
I couldn't agree more! We will miss Jay but the funeral was a great tribute of a great life.
It really was a nice funeral. Welcome to the blogging world :)
