THE PHANTOM!
Yes. Last night I went to The Phantom of the Opera with Westy, Koryl and Becca. Honestly, I think it was the greatest show that A) I have ever seen (talent-wise) and B) One of my most favorite shows I have ever seen.
It was ridiculously amazing. I never have heard a more talented cast. The Phantom's voice was out of this world. (And that is coming from a girl who has seen Josh Groban live). It was so
CAPTIVATING.
Not only did they have great voices, but EVERYONE had great voices and the stage was well put together. Everything flowed and transitioned smoothly.
When the Phantom sang, I got shivers.
Christine hit those high notes with ease and beauty.
Phantom hit the high notes with tenderness and passion.
Christine showed genuine emotion that made me think she was really being seduced by the Phantom.
Raul is the man. I still loved him, even though the Phantom had a better voice.
I really have never been so captivated or involved in a show like I have this one. I seriously could have watched it again when it ended. I didn't WANT it to end. The dancing was fabulous, acting was phenomenal, and the music was astounding. My ears will never be able to handle the soundtrack again!
