Christchurch Top 10

Christchurch hit home for me.
It is London's little brother.
Except with more incredible views and scenery

Christchurch Top 10:

Overlooking the city
We like to pose for our pictures
We made a sweet sand castle on the beach
This picture doesn't do it justice. It was so beautiful when the sun set!
Watangi Day!
Never heard of it? Me neither. It's their 4th of July.
Fireworks to the tune of Bohemian Rhapsody.
I can't wait for the fourth
We can't be in NZ without Tim Tam Slams
I am depressed. I'm missing the Rugby World Cup by four months. Come back?
The Botanical Gardens were amazing
The rose garden was massive and smelled so good
Random bridge equals photo opportunity
I didn't get any really good pictures of this, but the earthquake damage is real here. I couldn't believe it! There is scaffolding everywhere and buildings are missing parts. It hit a lot harder than I thought. Someone told us that it was bigger than the quake in Haiti a while back....only no one died because it was during the night so everyone was in bed. They count it as a great blessing, which it is. Most of the stuff that is up now is just reinforcement for the aftershocks they are getting (over 1,000 each day).
