God in school.
I love it here for many reasons, but one of the biggest reasons is that they allow God in the schools here.
As in, we pray at least three times a day - in the morning, before lunch and before going home.
They are not scared to talk about the earthquake in Christchurch and bring a belief in God into the picture.
At the end of each day (after the prayer) they say "God Bless Everyone! Shoo Shoo Shoo!"
We sing the national anthem and it brings tears to everyone's eyes when we sing "God Defend New Zealand" because they really believe it.
We have two minutes of silence to remember all those in Christchurch (a full week since the quake) and to thank God for his goodness.
We have bible study once a week.
and...
Everyone supports it. I have never heard one word of complaint about religion being pushed on students or wanting to take God out of anything.
It is awesome.
I can honestly say school is one place I can easily feel the Spirit.
Even if we have slightly different beliefs, at least we all still have beliefs.
And I wouldn't change it for anything.
