Coast to Coast

We decided to do "The hike that defines Auckland - a 16 kilometer trail across Auckland city."

AKA the Coast to Coast Walk

We started from Waitemata Harbour

Made our way through downtown and ventured across many of Auckland's famous domains and parks, seeing natural and historic areas.

With spectacular views

On top of this hill, we could see both coasts....too bad my camera couldn't capture it though.

We went on top of the famous One Tree Hill, which was lovely.

And found the end....after getting lost 4 times, asking 2 people for directions, being asked by 2 people for directions (bonus for us....they wouldn't ask us if we looked like tourists) and running into our Professor at the University of Auckland and getting hooked up with some sandwiches to keep our energy up.

It was a great way to see all of Auckland!
