This past Friday night, we went on a picnic up in the Waitakere Range!

We had a beautiful view of Cascade Falls. We plan to hike there and go swimming one of these days :)
Julie (Whitney and Emily's host mom) was so kind to come and pick us up and take us along for the picnic. It was wonderful to get away and see some beautiful sights that Auckland has to offer!
Janet, Bo (Julie's son), Me and Bella. Bella is Natalia's daughter (also Julie's niece...everyone is related here). Natalia joined us for the picnic. She is also the one that took us to church last week. We like her a lot. She is probably ten years older than us, but acts just like us.
So we kinda told a little lie and said that we wanted to check out this secluded resort in the middle of the ranges because our parents were coming to pick us up and wanted us to research where to stay. It was fun to see anyway and has a great view! It wasn't badly priced either....$170 a night.
Aw, the sunset. This isn't the best picture...cameras never do it justice. But it was great nonetheless.

LOVE these pictures! & Janet was in my sign language class Freshman Year! She was so funny. She probably doesn't remember me. I have a creepy memory. D this pictures are SO awesome!
