This is for all of you Narnia lovers out there.
You know who you are.
We went to Cathedral Cove (well almost) on our way back from Hot Water Beach.
I say almost because we walked as far as we could towards it (about a 40 minute walk) and they shut off the trail because of falling rock and mud slides (didn't help that it was raining). But we did get to see Stingray bay at least, and take some pictures of the famous scenery in movies such as Prince Caspian!
This is Natalie Snow. Our trusted guide and fellow teacher. She is awesome. She grew up in New Zealand, went to Uni at BYU, student taught in Fiji, taught English in Taiwan, and now teaches here in kiwiland. She is so fun to talk to (especially because she is a dual major as well....I'm getting lonely here being the only dual) and she knows all my friends at the BYU Kindergarten!
Here it is!
Recognize it?
I didn't.
Up close.
We had to walk through lots and LOTS of mud. But it was fun to squish between the toes.
Here is a picture with me in it for proof that I was there....soaked and completely covered in mud. Please excuse the tired, muddy, wideload look. It was a long day.
